Rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatment with the use of the latest and effective methods and equipment is carried out in the Rehabilitation Service of MC Erebouni. Rehabilitation, physiotherapy services, as well as speech therapy services are provided here. Today, the service uses all the advanced methods used in restorative medicine: physical therapy, physiotherapy, manual therapy. Apparatus and manual methods of massage, occupational therapy and kinesiotherapy have been introduced.

People with cardiovascular, orthopedic and post-traumatic problems are also treated here.
Speech therapists deal with patients with a violation of the act of swallowing (dysphagia), speech problems, speech tempo, rhythm (aphasia, dysarthria, dysphonia).
Of the means of physiotherapy, light treatment, magnetotherapy, electrical stimulation of the skin, thermal application is used. Blockades are carried out if necessary.
The Service works with all departments of the medical center in cases when, after saving the patient's life, it is necessary to restore the ability to walk, move, speak.
Therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions are carried out in the Intensive Care Unit after polytrauma and stroke, when there is muscle failure, there are problems with speech.
The specialists of the Service have been retrained and are in constant contact with foreign colleagues.
The next step of cooperation is the program "Interprofessional training in rehabilitation medicine.", within the framework of which the center was visited by the head of the Armenian-American sports medicine coalition Nicholas Tavukjian, the head of the NGO "Тherapists for Armenia" Armine Papikyan, the head of the company "Polaris" Michael Landry.
They got acquainted with the possibilities of the rehabilitation service, and stressed the importance of exchanging experience between specialists.
The program is implemented jointly with the National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, the purpose of which is to retrain specialists in the field of rehabilitation medicine in order to become leaders in the region and transfer knowledge and skills to other specialists in their field.
Since its establishment in the Rehabilitation Service of MC Erebouni, many patients have been saved from disability, relieved of acute pain, and returned to normal life.
