To get solution in this problem it is necessary multidisciplinary approach that can be reached by a round table discussion of different profile specialists.
Tumor Board – is a regular meeting of the doctors of related clinical areas, where the strategy of the treatment of cancer patients in complicated situations are discussed. Though the patient has been treated by one oncologist, treatment plan of the patients is actually the result of work of a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
For Tumor Board meetings are invited the doctors, who are specialized in the field of X-ray and laboratory diagnostics, endoscopy, surgery, oncology, X-ray therapy, pathomorphology and many others, depending on the problem of discussion.
