Since 2004, one of the most important programs of the healthcare system has been implemented in MC Erebuni-Cochlear Implant Program.The program is designed for children who have been diagnosed with hearing loss grade 4.The program was implemented jointly by the President and Founder of Armenian International Medical Fund (AIM Fund) Dr. Salpy Akaragian, the Head of Erebuni MC Professor Harutyun Kushkyan and Professor of UCLA Dr. Akira Ishiyama.Thanks to the program, more than 170 children already hear.Professor Akira Ishiyama and Dr. Salpy Akaragian are back in Armenia. In the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of MC Erebuni , this time they performed 19 surgeries.
