MC Nairi , in keeping with the experience of the leading international clinics, in the near future will use a modern method of ovarian cancer treatment.
“During the next year we are planning to use the newest method of medicine treatment of ovarian cancer. A new approach in treatment is not only in classical intravenous chemotherapy injection, and also injection directly into the abdominal cavity. It is known, that ovarian cancer has a tendency to spread to the abdominal surface, that is why chemotherapy injection directly into abdominal cavity leads to a maximal destruction of cancer cells in the abdominal cavity”- noted the head of Chemotherapy Department of MC Nairi Dr. Levon Badalyan.
This innovation in the treatment of ovarian cancer will be unique in its kind in Armenia.
