Multiparametric Liver Ultrasound Imaging are performed in the Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics of MC Erebouni.
It is used for the differential diagnosis of diffuse liver diseases (hepatitis, fatty hepatosis). The advantage of this exam is that it allows to evaluate not only the degree of liver fibrosis but also the degree of inflammation and steatosis (obesity) before and after treatment interventions. Multiparametric liver elastography is a non-invasive, harmless, and effective method that in some cases allows to avoid puncture biopsies.
