As the largest multidisciplinary medical center in the country, Erebuni Medical Center continuously develops, expands, and enhances its services, upgrades medical equipment, and steadily improves infrastructure, aligning all processes with international healthcare quality standards while ensuring patient comfort and attentive care.
The Center actively invites Armenian medical specialists from abroad to live and work at Erebuni. Many gladly accept the opportunity. The team is continuously strengthened by young, forward-thinking professionals educated at leading global universities and trained in reputable international clinics. They work side by side with Erebuni’s experienced physicians across dozens of departments and services, providing consultations and performing surgeries collaboratively.
In recent years, one of the Center’s top priorities has been the consistent improvement of infrastructure and patient comfort. Operating rooms, surgical theaters, post-operative units, corridors, reception areas, patient rooms, and entire departments, covering thousands of square meters, have been fully renovated, re-equipped, and furnished according to modern, functional design standards.
All renovation and modernization works have been carried out in compliance with JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation requirements.
A safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff is a core priority. Continuous monitoring of equipment performance, installation of fire alarm systems, sensor-based fire safety mechanisms, and advanced safety infrastructure are implemented under the framework of Facility Management & Safety standards.
Strict ventilation and air quality control systems, regulated workflow and safety systems, emergency exits, evacuation plans, clear signage, and comprehensive infection prevention protocols are in place. Regular cleaning and disinfection procedures, including terminal cleaning, as well as clearly structured clean and dirty workflow separation (clean/dirty workflow), are strictly maintained.
After each patient discharge, deep and comprehensive disinfection is conducted. Single-use materials and personal hygiene items are carefully managed to ensure maximum safety.
Beyond JCI safety requirements, special attention is paid to patient room comfort. Maternity ward rooms, in particular, are furnished with non-traditional medical beds and furniture, creating a warm, comfortable, hotel-like environment to support women during the postpartum recovery period.
Non-medical services have also been modernized. Patients receiving inpatient care are provided with balanced, environmentally friendly, three meals per day.
All of these efforts reflect a commitment to delivering high-quality services where safety and excellence are combined with warmth, respect, and genuine care.
Keeping pace with leading global healthcare standards, Erebuni Medical Center is no longer just a medical institution, it is a center of care, comfort, safety, and trust.
