MC “Erebouni” is always cooperating with regional medical institutions, organizes various meetings and discussions both in Yerevan and in other regions of RA. This initiative is especially being carried out by Health Department and Regional Office of Social Services. Regular meeting was held in Vanadzor. This time the local specialists were presented up- to- date methods, means and problems in the treatment of different neurological diseases by the doctors of MC Erebouni.
Executive director of MC Erebouni Dr. M. Manukyan and the Head of Health and Social Care Department and Lori Regional Administration Samvel Lambaryan greeted the participants of scientific meeting ”Modern treatment approaches in neurology”.
During scientific meeting the specialists in neurology of MC Erebouni introduced modern approaches for diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and their treatment, the treatment of acute phase of stroke, types of epileptic seizures, methods for their differentiation, also the diseases of peripheral nervous system and features of diagnosis to more than 70 specialists of Lori region-neurologists, therapists and family doctors. The experts were introduced the intervention for stroke prevention on carotid and vertebral arteries. At the end of the conference the participants were given certificates, approved by the Ministry of Health, and also credits for continuous medical education.
