Stroke in 2.5-year-old child. A little girl Zhanna Baqoyan was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke. The child from Aragatsotn marz was moved to Yerevan, MC Erebouni, where for the first time in Armenia stenting of cerebral vessels in child was performed. Unique intervention was performed by the Head of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery Service Dr. David Sahakyan and famous Armenia-American neurologist Dr. Mikayel Grigoryan. After 4 hours of surgery the child was moved to children`s hospital, a week later the child was discharged.
