The role of computed tomography in the diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke. This topic was discussed by specialists in MC Erebouni. The state program for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, which was launched in February 2019, is applied with great success in MC Erebouni. Two years later, based on the medical experience of Armenia and abroad, radiologist Lusine Malkhasyan presented to her colleagues the priority and importance of computed tomography in assessing the early diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke. The report presents the types of strokes, criteria for early diagnosis of ischemic stroke, talked about the ASPECTS score scale, which was practically not used in the republic before the introduction of the program. Methods of assessing collaterals, as well as perfusion computed tomography (PCT), which also play an important role in the assessment and early detection of stroke, were discussed. The discussion was attended by specialists of MC Erebouni - radiologists, neuropathologists, neurosurgeons.
