Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of MC Erebouni carries out large-scale and multi-range examinations. It is equipped with advanced equipment that meets international quality standards, experienced and professional staff works in laboratory. It works 24/7, delivering services to more than 500 patient and performing for about 3000 examinations a day. All this is carried out in a very short time and with high accuracy.
In Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of MC Erebouni it is possible to perform the wide range of different set of diagnostic tests
- All kinds of samples: blood, urine, discharge from genital tract, feces, swabs and all kind of clinical and biochemical tests.
- blood coagulation analysis
- immunological tests/ hormone, tumor markers, determination of enzymes and vitamins
- determination of electrolytes
- markers of acute processes
- soserological analyses: blood group and Rh factor, Rh antibody titer test in pregnancy, blood group compatibility between donors and recipients
- infections
- bacteriological examinations
- PCR; genetic examinations
- parasite diagnosis
- pregnancy screening/ pregnancy testing at an early stage
More than 30 types of biochemical examinations are implemented in MC Erebouni. COBAS INTEGRA 400 plus is fully automated analyzer which is perfect solution for clinical chemistry testing in laboratories running up to 400 samples per day and has the option of placement 90 samples at the same time. Due to Cobas 411 fully automated immunoassay analyzer, high-sensitivity troponin T test for heart muscle protein is implemened. The result is delivered within 10-18 minutes.
Hormone examinations such as: (thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, pancreas, sex hormones and others), detection of infectious antibodies, detection of pregrancy at an early stage, pregnancy screening, determination of vitamin D/B12 and other essential indicators determining the condition of organism are implemented in laboratory.
PCR -polymerase chain reaction is also used in laboratory for examinations of sexually transmitted 12 infections, thrombophilia, folate cycle disorders. PCR is an amplification method of DNA, which can multiply (disconnect and multiply) DNA sequence millions of times within a few hours. Examination is carried out by CFX-96 BioRad multifunctional, precise, and flexible real-time amplification system. It enables to perform multicomplex examinations up to 5 targets in 96 samples. This method enables rapid detection of bacterial and viral diseases in early incubation stages.Clinical and cytological tests are carried out by doctors with long experience, participating in international and local trainings. In all types of biomaterials are also implemented cytological examinations for screening and diagnosis. It should be noted that existing analysers are regularly updated and replaced with more powerful and modern equipment according to modern medical requirements.
