The service is primarily equipped with state-of-the-art devices manufactured by the Japanese company PENTAX Medical, including the OPTIVISTA i7010 and Defina 3000 video processors, along with various endoscopes. Thanks to the PENTAX Medical i7010 endoscopic video processor and next-generation endoscopes, examinations of the digestive system are carried out smoothly and without difficulty. The system enables the detection of even the most subtle abnormalities.
During the same procedure, using the HITACHI ARIETTA S60 ultrasound system, physicians can perform minimally invasive interventions while simultaneously obtaining and combining endoscopic and ultrasound images, ensuring highly precise diagnostic results.
Continuously improving the quality of medical care, expanding service types, and upgrading equipment, the Endoscopic Examination Service of Erebuni Medical Center has recently been enhanced with the advanced PENTAX Medical INSPIRA™ universal endoscopic video processor.
The new system features 4K ultra-high resolution, optimal image quality, Auto HDR contrast technology, a 5-LED light source, a 7-inch touchscreen display, and other cutting-edge solutions that expand both diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. The high-definition 4K megapixel endoscopes with ergonomic control and optical magnification further enhance the performance of the new processor, improving visualization of surface structures, microvascular patterns, inflammation, and mucosal relief and changes.
The endoscopic workflow is complemented by the high-performance German Erbe VIO 3 surgical system, an intelligent, touchscreen-controlled device designed for effective hemostasis (bleeding control).
A key function of the Endoscopic Examination Service is ensuring hygiene and safety, including proper cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes. The French Soluscope Serie 1 automated washing and disinfection systems, compliant with international hygiene standards (ISO/EN), provide safe and reliable reprocessing of endoscopes. These systems ensure both patient and medical staff safety, protect against cross-contamination, reduce the risk of human error, and guarantee thorough and accurate disinfection.
