Erebuni Medical Center

In order to advance the development of infrastructural projects at Erebouni Medical Center, improve the surrounding area, and ensure the full integration of oncological services, a new Radiation Therapy Center was initiated in 2023 adjacent to the hospital, at the initiative of Harutyun Kushkyan.

The project to establish an unprecedented radiation therapy center in Armenia—envisioned by Professor Harutyun Kushkyan, the founder of Erebouni Medical Center—began in 2019, when he signed a memorandum with Stanislav Popov, the Regional Director for Europe of the renowned American company Varian Medical Systems, for the acquisition of radiation therapy equipment.

Specialists invited from abroad, including physicists and radiation oncologists, will also work in the new center. Local specialists are currently undergoing training as well.
